Good morning Life – What a lovely day

I am grateful to be alive. I am blessed with the day. Thank you God. I am so happy and joyful that I am breathing, enjoying, thinking and loving life. Many of us take the day for granted. Sometimes when I am asleep, I look forward for the new day. In process, I stay healthy by exercising, meditating at the gyms jacuzzi, quietness in the dry sauna, and steam room. I do not take the day for granted. Sometimes when I’m driving on the streets or the highways, I am safe and reach my home and destination with zest. We do not have to analyze how divine spirit keeps us alive. It’s Gods miracle and Gods plan we are alive.

Just recently a lady named Michelle passed away from cancer. It was a sad day. She had a husband and 3 children. I got to meet her on internet network. She was very encouraging and positive. My wife also knew her, and she met Michelle face to face in Oakland, California few months ago. We do not know when we will leave this physical earthly life. It’s Gods plan that we are alive. As long as we have this miracle life, and this miracle day, we must give thanks and gratitude to God, through prayer or self acknowledgement and awareness. Our state of mind is very important. We are blessed with the free will and decisions and choices to make in our daily life. We are here for a purpose. We are here to love one another and see God in each person we encounter.

Next time when you encounter any person, can be your loved ones, friends or even strangers, see them with God’s presence with them. See God in them. See God’s love in them. We have these joyful days, and we must fulfill Gods plan on earth. Practice seeing them through their eyes. You see their soul through their eyes. We are blessed to have another day. Each day is a blessed day, and God wants to fulfill his mission or plan for us. All the challenges we encounter in our day-to-day life, we must pray and bless the day to fulfill happiness, peace, harmony and love on this earth.

Teach children about God’s blessings

Children do need guidance towards understanding God’s blessings. Many of the young children born these day and age get caught up in materialistic environment such as cell phones, video games, computers, sports and watching lots of TV. Parents must take time to teach their children the countless blessings they have been bestowed upon them and the family. An early introduction to prayers is wonderful. Say a blessing every time the family eats together. Morning, lunch and dinner. The more prayers of thanks are taught at an early age, it will reside with them the rest of their lives. It’s a sense of awareness of God’s blessings that will reside in children’s lives and carry-on through their adult lives.

I was about five or six when my family taught me to bless the food we were about to eat. Our simple prayer was “God bless this food”. The blessing is powerful indeed. When I was attending a Christian boys boarding school in South India from ages 12 through 18, we said blessings for all the meals for the day, every day. While I was growing up, I used to see several young children begging for food in India. I said a prayer to bless these young children with food and for their daily life. It’s sad to see so much waste in US, especially the food we eat. US is a land of plenty, blessed with very productive agricultural crops and raising cattle and fowl. We must encourage our children to give thanks and gratitude to God for our farmers and cattle raisers to put food on our tables.

Not only food for the blessings, but also teach them for a home to stay and sleep, clothing, and their education. The children will learn the value and respect for what they have and be in awareness for those that do not have basic necessities of daily existence. Maybe even take children, especially teenagers to visit homeless shelters. by witnessing some homeless children and adults how they live. This will help the children to be more thankful to God, for what they have.

Use God’s gifts – No charge

We are a miracle. Take an inventory what kind of gifts you have. That’s right, free gifts from God. A gift to think, to feel, to love, to be compassionate, ability to laugh, to care, a free will, choices and decisions to make, so on. When we are in awareness the wonderful gifts we have and express gratitude and thanks to our creator, what a blessing it is. The more we express our best, the more we shine. Somehow, many of us are brought up putting too much value on money, due to immediate gratification. Money is good. It pays bills, comes in emergency, and save for the future. But constantly dwelling on money and acquiring “things”, we forget who we are in our awareness.

The gifts that God gave us, needs to be cherished and shared. I’ve seen several people get involved with making money in entrepreneur businesses. Some of them don’t have any time for families, but enjoy making money. What good is money, when family relationships suffer? I recall while I was in Aerospace high-tech industry as a financial analyst, many of the upper level corporate honchos, had expectations of their lower level subordinates stay longer in their offices, regardless of the family responsibilities. These bosses were thinking only about getting things done and seeking higher promotions for status and prestige. Most of them were on an ego trip. For many bosses, they were stuck in their authoritarian jobs.

We must use God’s gifts to us in a positive way, so that associates, people surrounding us, will benefit and help them grow knowing we care for each other. Where there is enthusiasm, stability, free-flowing, less control, at work place or at business or at college and schools, even in home environments, we allow divine guidance to flow through each one of us to strengthen bounds with each other. That’s God like, and seeing God in one another. God’s gifts are so simple and functional, at the same time, many of us make it complicated for others. A sense of deep awareness of God’s gifts in each one of us does make us whole and loving.

Give thanks to God for your family, friends and prosperity

Some of us may have money and power. But, that does not bring happiness and joy in our lives. What brings love, joy and happiness are family, friends and a sense and feeling of prosperity. I’ve observed in many instances in our materialistic world, that when we are constantly wanting and desiring materialistic things, ego fulfillment, many of us put God or divine spirit in the backdrop. Instead we should give thanks to God by praying for having family, friends and being prosperous. We can sense deep down a feeling and a sense of security when we experience love from our family and friends. For some reason or other, when we “feel secured and comfortably prosperous”, God the spirit is not recognized or hidden in the background.

Time to time, I collect canned food for the homeless people at homeless shelters. Also, very poor people come to the shelter to collect canned food and bread in a bag for their families. I look at their faces. They are happy to get food in the bag for their families. I pray that these poor people better their lives. The homeless people in the shelters are getting help from the contributors and donors. The shelter managers constantly ask for donations for money, to keep these shelters open. And in Las Vegas, the city of lights, there is lack and prosperity. Amongst prosperous casinos with so much wealth, that can be seen from the shelters, there is homelessness. God will guide the angels to help and guide the homeless, and that is through ones awareness and enlightenment from within.

I thank God for what I have and with gratitude. A wonderful wife, shelter and food, friends, my sons and grand children, wonderful health. For me inner peace, harmony, and a sense of well-being is important. I encourage rejoicing, kindness and caring for each other. We are in this world to experience our created heaven on this earth. I encourage praying and meditation, communicating with God and listening to our inner voice from within. Feel God’s blessings.

We have Blessings and Lessons in Life

On many occasions we are blessed with prosperity, like a very good paying job or a very successful business, and other times blessed with a solid marriage relationship and have plenty of friends. At some point in time we have excellent health. Other times, many do lose jobs during high unemployment or loss of business due to recession in neighborhoods. And marriage relationships go up and down as well, due to dynamics in relationships. When things in our life go hunky dory or “perfect”, we are at a “happy” state. Moreover, many people pray to get rich and work at it. Sounds good. When, faced with challenges due to downturn in economy or a failing relationship or ill-health due to overweight or diseases, many forget countless blessings and blame God.

I recall going through job search after I lost my job as a Cost Engineer at an Engineering construction company due to economic downturn, was a very frustrating experience back in early ’80’s. I even was blaming God, why me got caught up with lay-offs. I also was going through a divorce, and asked why I am dissatisfied with marriage, not happy. All along, we go through this materialistic life and keep on wanting to have more. Maybe its the environment we live to wanting more. As I was experiencing lay-off, I volunteered at a church to become a lay minister handling telephone calls from people who were disturbed and having tough times with their faith and beliefs, relationships, unemployment, drug habits, alcoholism, etc.

I realized that I have lessons to learn. More over, came to my awareness, how blessed I was to have an excellent health, friends around me, and learning from people who are already facing hardships and challenges. All the experiences that we go through life are lessons. God or the divine spirit is still there, but we are not in awareness of the blessings we still carry with us. We get lost, caught up with possessions, keeping our standards compared with others, instead of counting our blessings and giving gratitude to God.

Healing power of love

We must pray to God to guide our inner and outer presence, to release our healing love towards others. We all face challenges in our walk of life, be it in personal relationships, health related illnesses or financial hardships. Pray for others to recognize God’s love towards themselves and others, and help them share it with others. We must send our healing love in our communities and other parts of the world. There is so much discordance and disharmony in our communities and in other parts of the world. The thing you can ask for yourself is: How can I make a difference sending healing power of love? There are several ways, and a better way is through prayer and meditation.

In our societies many are experiencing divorce, unemployment, challenges in finance, isolation, ill-health, our nation in wars, etc. We must pray and in meditation for peace, harmony, joy, happiness and prosperity. When we send out our energy and vibrations towards those who are hurting or need our prayers, they are bound to be helped by theĀ  power of love.

When we have an attitude for making a happier and joyful living in this life, we are experiencing the enlightenment through God’s grace. We must tame the ego, not to get in our walk of life to compare with others or make ourselves unhappy not getting what we want. Give thanks to God and spread the healing power of love.

Today is a new beginning

Always thank God for giving you a new day. We are a miracles in this life and on this earth. Pray for guidance in our daily life. Even though we missed the mark or made mistakes in life’s journey several times, we have the ability and know-how to center ourselves and live a joyful and happy life. We must acknowledge divine spirit, love and light within us and in others. Pray to God to leave behind judgements, mistakes, ill feelings, fear and personal egos, from yesterdays and the past. I’ve worked with several clients as a financial counselor who had personal financial challenges and they were having credit card problems. I made them realize there are solutions to their problems and get peace of mind from worries.

There are ways to look and move forward, to see new beginnings, in each of us, in joy, happiness, in good health, prosperity and serve others to fulfill our mission, in this adventurous life. We are blessed with Gods wisdom and use our will and decision-making choices to help us reach in the state of joy, happiness and enlightenment. Many of us have a tendency to carry past baggage with us. Yes, its scary to let go and let God handle our problems and worries. There are answers to every challenge and problems we face. Talk to loved ones and share. Might relieve psychological pain. Praying and meditation helps.

Be thankful for today and everyday. It’s a miracle you and I are experiencing the beginning of each day. Always remember you are in Gods hand and in his care.

Blessings,
